Pune: Two Students Injured in School Bus and BMW Car Collision Near Science Park

Pimpri Chinchwad, 29th July 2024: In Pimpri Chinchwad, near Science Park, a Podar International School bus and a ‘luxurious’ BMW Car collided head-on. Two students on the school bus were injured in the incident, which occurred around 12:30 PM today.
According to the Pimpri Police, the school bus was travelling in the BRT lane when the BMW car, coming from the opposite direction at high speed, collided with the front of the bus. The two injured students have been taken to a nearby private hospital. There were 15 students on the bus at the time of the accident.
The Pimpri Police have started an investigation into the collision. Both the car driver and the bus driver are being questioned. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. To prevent such incidents in the future, the police have appealed for better control of speeding vehicles.
