Pune: Uday Samant Announces Inquiry Committee for Suspended Talegaon Dabhade CEO NK Patil

Mumbai, 10th July 2024: Following a complaint against the CEO of Talegaon Dabhade Nagar Parishad in Maval taluka of Pune district, CEO NK Patil has been suspended. Maharashtra’s Minister for Industries, Uday Samant, announced the formation of an inquiry committee comprising Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to investigate all aspects of Patil’s career.

During the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Maval MLA Sunil Shelke made a notable suggestion, with Dahisar MLA Manisha Chaudhary also contributing to the discussion. Samant stated that an inquiry report had been received through the Sub-Divisional Officer of Maval concerning the complaints against CEO NK Patil of Talegaon Nagar Parishad.

In addition, a case has been registered at Talegaon Dabhade Police Station regarding an accident on 1st June 2024, involving CEO NK Patil. He was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and collided with several vehicles.
