Pune University Extends Deadline For Summer Exam Applications By Two Days, Check Further Details Below
Pune, 8th April 2025: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has extended the deadline by two days for students to submit examination forms for the summer session. This extension applies specifically to courses for which the initial application window has already closed. Students can now submit their exam applications between Wednesday, 9th April and Thursday, 10th April.
Dr. Prabhakar Desai, Officiating Director of the University’s Board of Examinations and Evaluation, confirmed the extension. He explained that the decision was taken to accommodate students of courses whose application deadlines had lapsed, as part of the academic year 2024–25 summer session.
The university has directed that examination officers promptly confirm the applications through the university’s internal and secured system once submitted online. Colleges are also advised to take responsibility for validating the applications submitted by students and, if possible, extend office hours to facilitate this process.
Dr. Desai further instructed colleges to implement all necessary alternative arrangements at the administrative level to ensure students do not face difficulties due to potential power outages, public holidays, or other issues during this extended period. The emphasis, he said, should remain on student welfare and the integrity of the examination schedule.
