Pune University Reveals Schedule for 2024-25 Academic Sessions
Pune, 14th May 2024: Savitribai Phule Pune University has unveiled the academic calendar for the upcoming academic year 2024-25. The first sessions for affiliated arts, commerce, and science colleges in Pune, Nashik, and nearby regions are set to commence on June 20th. Notably, Diwali vacations are scheduled from October 21st to November 18th.
Following a disruption in academic calendars over the past three years due to the pandemic, university authorities express confidence in conducting exams for the monsoon session on schedule, aiming for a return to normalcy in the upcoming academic year. The university has released academic calendars for various departments, including science and technology, commerce and management, humanities, and social sciences.
Undergraduate programs, with the exception of pharmaceutical sciences and architecture, are slated to kick off from June 20th. Meanwhile, postgraduate programs will commence between July 1st and July 18th. The next monsoon session is projected to commence in the first week of December, with exams scheduled for April-May 2025.
