Pune University Summer Exams To Begin From March 25; Check Key Details Below
Pune, 17th March 2025: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced that its summer session examinations for diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses will commence on 25th March. The exam schedules are being released in phases, and all affiliated colleges have been directed to make the necessary arrangements.
The examinations for diploma courses, first-year undergraduate courses in arts, commerce, and science, and first-year law programs will be conducted at the respective colleges. These institutions will be responsible for preparing the timetable, setting question papers, organizing the exams, evaluating answer sheets, and entering internal assessment marks. Examinations for other courses will be conducted by the university.
Students must arrive at the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. The Centralized Assessment Process (CAP) will begin on the third day after the exams commence. A Bharari Pathak has been appointed to ensure smooth conduct. In case a student’s barcode-marked answer sheet is not received at the exam center, an emergency barcode will be issued. Dr. Prabhakar Desai, Director of Examination and Evaluation Board informed that however, allowing students who have not registered for the exams to appear using an emergency barcode is considered a serious offense and will lead to legal action.
The university has announced that all diploma and undergraduate (BA, BCom, BSc) exams will start on 25th March, while the law and BBA exams will commence on 9th April. The schedules are available on the university’s official website, and timetables for remaining courses will be released soon.
