Pune University To Declare Results Of Both Semesters Of Current Academic Year Together

Pune, 26th May 2021: The colleges and university-run departments of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) are closed for a year now. Students have had to seek education via online mode as the campuses are shut.

They have not been able to attend practical exams. Colleges have tried to conduct practical exams as well as theory exams in an online mode. Some of the term-end exams will be completed by 15th June, after that the combined result will be announced.

SPPU has recently published online results on their website. However, they do not contain marks for practical exams. Therefore, the students panicked as their online mark sheets had ‘NA’ written instead of marks of the online practical exams.

Mahesh Kakade, Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation, SPPU, said, “Marks of the online practical exam will be added in the final mark sheets and students will not have to face any difficulties regarding the same. The final mark sheet can only be declared after the marks of the practical and internal exams are declared, and this year due to the Covid pandemic we have not been able to conduct them properly. Hence, we will be declaring results of both terms at the same time.”
