Pune: Vikas Dhakne Appointed As Additional Municipal Commissioner Of PMC

Pune, 4th December 2022: Vikas Dhakne, an officer of the Indian Railway Security Service, has been appointed to the vacant post of Additional Commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Dhakne took charge at PMC on Friday (December 2).

Earlier Dhakne was working as Additional Commissioner at Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).

There are three posts of Additional Commissioner in Pune Municipal Corporation. According to the seniority of service, an officer in the municipal service is promoted to this post. Earlier, Suresh Jagtap, Dyaneshwar Molak and Vilas Kanade were appointed to this post.

Meanwhile, the post became vacant after the retirement of Kanade in September.
