Pune: Volunteers Rally Behind Ramesh Bagwe, Outline Key Civic Issues at Camp Meeting

Camp, 7th November 2024: A large group of friends and well-wishers of former MLA Ramesh Bagwe, who is again constesting on Congress ticket from Pune Cantonment constituency for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections, gathered at Bougainvillea, Camp, for a volunteer-led meeting on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from individuals across various sectors, including CAs, advocates, IT professionals, bankers, and service industry executives, with a notable presence of young professionals.

The volunteers expressed their commitment to actively campaign for Ramesh Bagwe, highlighting his contributions during his previous tenure as an MLA. Discussions during the meeting focused on addressing key civic issues in the constituency. The young attendees voiced their expectations, with suggestions including:

1. Establishing Mohalla Clinics to improve healthcare access.
2. Immediate measures to tackle the city’s growing traffic chaos.
3. Solutions for waterlogging during the rainy season.
4. Improving sanitary and civic amenities.
5. Enhancing cleanliness and garbage disposal systems.
6. Resolving the issue of encroachments on vehicular roads.
