Pune: Water Disruption in Yerawada, Kharadi, Viman Nagar, Lohgaon and Other Nagar Road Areas on August 21-22
Viman Nagar, 18th August 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that the Bundgarden Water Supply Department will carry out urgent maintenance and repair work, leading to a temporary disruption of water supply in parts of the Nagar Road area.
According to the PMC, water supply will be completely suspended on Thursday, August 21, in several areas, including Yerawada, Sangamwadi, Tingrenagar, Vidyanagar, Vadgaonsheri, Kharadi, Chandannagar, Somnathnagar, Viman Nagar, Lohgaon, Vishrantwadi, Nagpurchawl area, Yerawada Jail Colony, Press Colony, Kalyaninagar, Dhanori, Kalwad, Phulenagar, Sapras, Shantinagar, Pratiknagar, and Kasturba Colony.
On Friday, August 22, water supply in these areas is expected to be restored, but residents may experience delays and low water pressure due to ongoing repair works.
The PMC has appealed to citizens to take note of the disruption, plan their water usage accordingly, and cooperate during the maintenance period.
