Pune: Water Supply Disruption: Sahakar Nagar, Gultekdi, Kondhwa, Katraj, Dhankawadi Affected on Thursday

Pune, 6th February 2024: Residents of Sahakar Nagar, Gultekdi, Kondhwa, Parvati, Dhankawadi, Katraj, and surrounding areas are advised of an upcoming disruption in the water supply on Thursday, the 8th of February. This interruption is attributed to essential electrical, pump, and structural maintenance works scheduled for the water tank located at Parvati.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Water Supply Department has announced that water supply will be suspended during this period, affecting several neighbourhoods. Additionally, residents should anticipate delayed and reduced water pressure on the following day, Friday, the 9th of February.

The affected areas include Sahakar Nagar, Padmavati Nagar, Bibvewadi, Bibvewadi Gaonthan, parts of Mukund Nagar, Maharshi Nagar, Gangadham, Chintamani Nagar, Part One and Two of Lake Town Housing Society, Shivtej Nagar, Upper Indira Nagar, Lower Indira Nagar, Shelke Wasti, Mahesh Society, Prem Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Dias Plot, Dholemala, Salisbury Park, Giridhar Bhavan, Thackeray Wasahat, Parvati Gaon, Mitha Nagar, Shivneri Nagar, Bhagyoday Nagar, Gyaneshwar Nagar, Saibaba Nagar, Kondhwa Khurd (Survey No. 42, 46) area, Parvati Tanker Filling Station, Padmavati Tanker Filling Station, Parvati Darshan, Taljai, Katraj, and Dhankawadi.

Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements to manage their water requirements during this temporary disruption period. The PMC assures residents that efforts will be made to restore regular water supply as promptly as possible following the completion of maintenance works.
