Pune Weather Alert: Heavy Rains Expected On Friday, Warns IMD

Pune, 25th July 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported moderate to heavy rainfall in various parts of Pune city from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm today. The rainfall measurements are as follows:
– Shivajinagar: 51.3 mm
– Pashan: 56.2 mm
– Lohegaon: 61.2 mm
– Chinchwad: 68.0 mm
– Lavale: 74.5 mm
– Magarpatta: 14.0 mm
– NDA: 48.0 mm
Forecast & Warning for Tomorrow (Friday):
The IMD has issued a forecast for overcast skies with incessant heavy (64.5-115.4 mm) to very heavy (115.6-204.4 mm) rainfall very likely in Pune. Additionally, isolated places in Ghat areas may experience extremely heavy rainfall (>=204.5 mm).
