Pune Yard Block: Jhelum Express Short Terminate at Hadapsar on July 5
Pune, 30th June 2026: The Pune-bound Jhelum Express (Train No. 11078) from Jammu Tawi will short terminate at Hadapsar railway station instead of Pune on July 5, as Central Railway undertakes a nine-hour infrastructure block in Pune Yard.
According to Central Railway, the change has been made due to a special traffic and power block scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday, July 5, to facilitate engineering, signalling and overhead equipment works, including the replacement of track points and the upgrade of the existing track layout in the Pune–Lonavala section.
The Jammu Tawi–Pune Jhelum Express (Train No. 11078), commencing its journey on July 3, will be short terminated at Hadapsar, resulting in the cancellation of its final stretch to Pune.
The block will affect train movements at Pune station, with Platform Nos. 1 and 2 remaining unavailable from the CSMT end during the maintenance work. Train movements towards CSMT from Platforms 2, 3 and 4 will also remain suspended during the block period.
Apart from the Jhelum Express, several other passenger, suburban and long-distance trains will face cancellations, short terminations, short originations and en-route regulation on July 5 due to the operational restrictions imposed during the block.
