Pune: Yerwada Metro Station to Commerzone IT Park Feeder Bus Service Launched
Yerwada, 9th September 2024: In a significant move to improve urban mobility, the Pune Metro Rail Project, in collaboration with Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML), has launched the Metro Integrated Feeder Bus Service, connecting Yerwada Metro Station to Commerzone IT Park. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and offer a smoother commuting experience for passengers.
The new feeder bus service was inaugurated by PMPML’s Chairperson and Managing Director, Deepa Mudhol Mundhe (IAS), in a ceremony attended by several key officials. Present at the event were General Manager Captain Dr. Rajendra Saner Patil (MMI/HR), Sr. DGM Uttamrao Bodakhe (HR), AGM Manoj Dandare (PD), DGM Manoj Kumar Danial (MMI), Shriram Pandit (Complex Head, Commerzone Yerwada), Lalit Mishra (Cluster Head, Pune), Anuj Chaturvedi (VP, Head Leasing, Pune), and Jitendra Datar (Principal, TCS). Other dignitaries included Chief Transport Manager Satish Gavhane, Manager Narayan Karde, and Datta Barde from the transport department.
The collaboration between Pune Metro and PMPML reflects their shared commitment to building a robust integrated public transport system for the city. The new feeder bus service is part of their ongoing efforts to promote seamless connectivity between key metro stations and major business hubs like Commerzone IT Park.
