Pune: Young Man Died By Jumping Off Building Under Influence Of Alcohol
Khed, 22nd March 2023: A 27-year-old man, Sandesh alias Akshay Shrikrushna Belsare, died by suicide by jumping from the terrace of a building under the influence of alcohol in Alandi Devachi, taluka Khed.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 21st March, at around 4 am in the Datta Mandir area near Bhaji Mandai in Alandi. Sandesh was a native of Tuljapur, taluka Chandur Railway, Amravati district and worked as a laborer.
According to the police, Sandesh was drinking heavily every day and would talk like a madman for no reason. On Monday, 20th March, around 9 pm, Sandesh was drinking alcohol and loudly expressing his desire to die. He died by suicide the next morning by jumping from the terrace of the building.
The incident was reported to the police by Sameer Shakir Ansari. Senior Police Inspector Sunil Godse of Alandi Police Station and his team inspected the spot and conducted a report. Alandi police are currently conducting further investigations.
