Pune: Youth Congress Attempt to Block Fadnavis’s Convoy Ends in Arrests

Viman Nagar, 7th January 2024: Tensions escalated in Pune today as Youth Congress activists made an attempt to block the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is also the Home Minister of Maharashtra. The situation took a turn for the worse when police arrested the activists, who were protesting against BJP MLA Sunil Kamble for slapping a policeman.

The incident occurred as Fadnavis was en route to Pune airport after concluding a scheduled program. The attempt to block the convoy resulted in a clash between Youth Congress activists and law enforcement.

As a consequence of the turmoil, several Youth Congress activists were arrested for attempting to disrupt the Home Minister’s convoy.
