Pune: Youth Murdered Over Friendship With Girl, Four Persons Arrested
Warje, 17th March 2022: A young man was killed in Warje area for allegedly not breaking off his friendship with a girl. Pune city police have arrested four persons, including a woman, in the case.
The deceased has been identified as Pradyunya Prakash Kamble (22) of Ramoshiwadi, Senapati Bapat Road. Police have arrested Ajay Vijay Paygude (19), Vijay Kisan Paygude (50), a woman, all residents of Dangat Patilnagar in Shivne, Sagar Govind Rathod (21) of Laxminagar in Dahanukar Colony, Kothrud.
An FIR has been registered against them at Warje Malwadi police station.
According to police, Kamble was having a relationship with a girl who is a relative of Paygude. He had warned Kamble in the past to break the relationship.
Two days ago, he had gone to the area at night. At that time, the accused attacked him with a weapon and cement block resulting in the death of Kamble.
Police Sub-Inspector RN Parvez is further investigating the case.
