Punekars save life of 18 yr old boy battling leukemia
Pune – 18 year old Shaurya Hukku (Son of Col Uttam Hukku & Mrs Rashmi Hukku) is battling leukemia and needs an urgent blood stem cell transplant. To find a matched donor, a cheek swab is required and in case there is a match it is to be followed up by donating peripheral blood. It is as simple to save a life now and build a registry that will save many more lives in future.
Col. Hukku and www.Datri.org is conducting a donor drive in Pune. If you are between 18 to 50 years of age you are a viable donor option.
