Elite teams tour The Arena by TransStadia

20th January, 2017, Ahmedabad: Elite teams across sporting disciplines have been seen in Ahmedabad recently visiting The Arena by TransStadia. Fresh off the success of the Kabaddi World Cup, the facility saw the Pro Kabaddi franchise, Puneri Paltans visit The Arena.

Iconic by global standards, The Arena by TransStadia was launched in October last year with a global yet Indian sport, the Kabaddi World Cup 2016.  After the launch, the facility has welcomed a number of visits from key influencers including its most recent: Oscar Gomes, Vice President Kotak Bank and Kailash Kandpal, Team Director of the Puneri Paltans.

The Arena by TransStadia is a state of the art stadium housing 16 different sports and also utilizes world renowned technologies like the patented ‘T-Box Technology’ that allows modular and retractable seating systems and the patented ‘StadiArena’ that enables conversion of a section of the stadium into an indoor arena. The latter can be utilized for at least 12 indoor sports, exhibitions, social functions, conventions and corporate events thereby offering a humongous opportunity to earn incremental revenues.  The Stadium also uses another technology, the ‘Turf protector’ which allows TransStadia to host events on the FIFA standard turf without affecting the playing pitch. This is the first time in India that such technology is being utilized.

The Arena is a fully functional integrated multi – sports facility that can host Sporting Programs for sports programs also has the facility to host training sessions for Elite teams like Puneri Paltans. With state of the art facilities like the sports science and rehabilitation center as well as rooms for team stay and the multi-sports hall for training, The Arena by TransStadia serves as the perfect venue for the next big thing in the sporting world.

After India’s performance at the Rio Olympic 2016, there has been a lot of criticism about the lack of facilities available in India and The Arena by TransStadia addresses that need, providing world class facilities and the much-needed infrastructure.
