Pune’s ABC Basketball Academy Sets Record Of Producing Maximum State And National Level Basketball Players
Pune, 30th January 2023: Pune’s ABC basketball academy has set a record for producing the most state and national-level basketball players this year. The annual award ceremony of ABC sports and fitness academy was conducted at Kharadi, where 145 players were awarded.
The awardees included:
– Under 13 girls district winner (3rd place district tournament)
– Under 13 boys runner up district tournament
– Under 16 girls 3rd place district tournament
– Under 18 girls 3rd place district tournament
– Seven national medal holder players boys and girls
– 13 states medal holder players boys & girls
– Three national medal holder coaches boys and girls
– Under 16 and under 13 Pune girls team medal holder coach
Three coaches from the academy represented Maharashtra at the national level.
– Vikrant Devidas Chaudhari achieved the Under 16 gold medal as coach of the Maharashtra girls’ team
– Rahul Singh was appointed as the head coach of Maharashtra under 18 girls team ( west zone silver medal)
– Rishav Tiwari was selected in Maharashtra under 13 boys team
The chief guests of the event were Surendra Pathare, Arnika Gujar, Seema Tanwar, and Dyaneshwar Katke.
