Pune, 6th March 2026: The results of the 2025 Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have been declared today and 19 students of the Deepstambh Foundation’s ‘Manobal’ project have achieved success in this examination.

Notably, 8 of these successful students are disabled and this has not only become an inspiring example of their determination, perseverance and hard work but has also become an inspiring achievement for students from socially weaker sections. Among them, visually impaired Ravi Raj, a student of Manobal, has topped the country among the disabled candidates and secured 20th rank in the country (AIR 20).

Deepstambh Foundation’s national project ‘Manobal’ provides all the necessary facilities to students in Pune, Jalgaon and Delhi through study materials, accessible education, technology-based facilities and special counselling. These facilities are provided to students with various disabilities such as blind, deaf, and physically challenged according to their needs. About 600 students from 16 states of the country are provided free education and training for various types of higher education and competitive examinations.

These students were guided by a team of about 40 officers including Dnyaneshwar Mulay (IFS), Kunal Kumar (IAS), Supriya Deosthali (ICAS), Ayushi Dabas (IAS), Vishwajit Yadav (Ex-IAAS) and Milind Patil (Head of Department – Manobal), informed Amol Lanka, Academic Head of Manobal.

Speaking about the success of Deepstambh Manobal, founder Yajurvendra Mahajan said, “I believe that this brilliant success of Divyang students in the civil services examination proves that the problem is not one of ability but of opportunity and system. If the Constitution provides equal opportunities, accessible education and proper guidance, specially abled youth can lead a developed India.”

Renuka Kekan from Pune, one of the successful students, said, “I have been associated with Deepstambh Foundation’s Manobal project since 2023 and was preparing here as a resident student.
