Purva Dhere from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune,  bags annual scholarship of INR 50000/- from Schneider Electric

Purva Dhere, a student of second year Electrical Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering BV(DU)COE, entitled to an annual scholarship of INR 50,000/- from Schneider Electric. Dr. Anand Bhalerao, Principal, BV(DU)COE has congratulated the achievement of Ms Purva Dhere. Under this scholarship, the tuition fees of the Ms Purva will be sponsored for the entire degree course with a cap of Rs.50000 per year.

She has expressed her credit of achievement to her teachers of Electrical Engineering department of BV(DU)COE, and guidance of Principal Dr. Anand Bhalerao and Dr Deepak Bankar, Head of Electrical Engineering Department.

Schneider Electric is the global specialist in energy management and automation. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune (BV(DU)COE) was selected by Schneider Electric for the scholarship program for students sponsored by Schneider Electric India Foundation. The scholarship was intended for deserving students pursuing their 2nd year of engineering from the streams Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Science and Electrical & Electronics and whose annual Income certified less than 2.5 Lakhs or less than 4 Lakhs for female students. However the student applying had to have a score above 65% in 10th and 12th and above 70% in first year of engineering.

The application process required the candidates who applied for the scholarship to go through a rigorous scanning process and interviews. Ms Purva Dhere, as student of second year Electrical Engineering at BV(DU)COE, was one of the applicant for the scholarship. After the verification of documents and short listing all prospective applicants, an interview of all shortlisted candidates was scheduled.

The interview was focused on assessing the personal skills as well as technical and research skills and interests of the applicants. Ms Purva successfully fared well in the long and meticulous interview and was selected for the scholarship. Under this scholarship, the tuition fees of the Ms Purva will be sponsored for the entire degree course with a cap of Rs.50000 per year.
