Radhika Jahagirdar adjudged ‘Mrs Maharashtra
25 December 2019, Pune- Pune: An engineer by profession, Radhika Jahagirdar from Pune has been adjudged ‘Mrs Maharashtra’. The beauty contest was conducted by Diva Peagents in which Radhika Jahagirdar excelled in all segments to be crowned ‘Mrs Maharashtra’. The contest was recently held at the Hyatt Hotel in Pune. A total of 50 beauty Peagents from across Maharashtra participated in it. Radhika took lead in intelligence contest, self introduction, attractive body language and also question answer segment. In the finale round 12 contestants fought it out for the prestigious crown which was bagged by Radhika Jahagirdar.
The judges for the contest included Bollywood actress Zoya Afroz, Marathi actress Varsha Ujgaonkar and popular Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover. On the occasion director of Diva Peagents Anjana Mascarhenas, Karl Mascarhenas, and family members of Radhika were present.
After winning the coveted title, Radhika said, “My native is in Amravati but presently I am working in Cummins technology in Pune as an engineer. My husband, Nishij, is also a software engineer. I have a daughter of eight years named Eva. In this journey, I received immense support from my husband, parents-in-law and my parents too. I could win this title because of the encouragement given by family members and also Anjana and Karla sir.”
Radhika is staying in Pune since past 17 years and has completed her mechanical engineering from VIT and did her master’s degree from BITs Pilani and is presently working automobile sector. She is especially interested in bike riding, travel and dance. She has also been working for orphans since 10 years. After winning the beauty contest, she encouraged all participants to convert their dreams to reality. She is constantly engaged in social work. She said that, “instead of taking something I always find satisfaction in giving back to society.”
