Punawale, 7th November 2024: Former Corporator Rahul Kalate, the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) candidate for the Chinchwad Constituency in the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections, is intensifying his campaign as the voting date approaches. As part of his outreach, he recently held a conversation with the residents of Punawale, a key area within the Chinchwad Constituency that has a significant voter base. During the discussion, he emphasised the importance of education and its role in shaping future generations.

Kalate highlighted his initiative in establishing the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) school in Wakad. He also outlined his vision to provide international-level education by building more educational institutions through his policies.

A major focus of Kalate’s campaign is empowering the next generation with employment-orientated education. He aims to ensure that all students are equipped with the skills needed to secure jobs in IT parks. Additionally, he plans to establish quality schools across the PCMC areas, addressing ongoing education-related challenges. Kalate is particularly focused on offering courses in AI and Data Science at nominal fees, keeping in mind the rapidly changing educational landscape. He also intends to seek government support for the creation of a separate education complex.

Rahul Kalate, the NCP-SP candidate for Chinchwad, said, “I am a native of this place. My friends work in IT, stay in regular communication with everyone, and are concerned about their children’s education and health. However, no one is addressing these issues. Chinchwad should be developed with consideration for both basic facilities and the needs of the next 50 years. Sharad Pawar’s vision laid the foundation for the development of Pimpri Chinchwad, and now we need to move it forward. All parts of Chinchwad should be developed equally.”
