Raigad: Rescue Operation Ended In Taliye, 31 Missing Persons To Be Declared Dead
Raigad, 26 July 2021: District Magistrate Nidhi Choudhary has informed that rescue operation has officially ended in Taliye.
“We have withdrawn our rescue teams from Taliye. 31 missing persons to be declared dead following due process. All relatives of missing people demanded for close of operations since yesterday.
After seeking opinion of NDRF/SDRF/TDRF and in respect of sentiments of survivors and relatives of missing people, rescue operation of missing 31 people called off officially at 10 am today,” the DM said.
Total 53 bodies have been recovered from the landslide site in Taliye village. Five were injured who are being treated in the hospital.
