Railways Announces Special Train From Pune To Guwahati

Pune, 21st April 2023: The Indian Railways has announced a special train from Pune to Guwahati to cater to the needs of passengers traveling between the two cities.

The train, numbered 01447 Hadapsar – Guwahati Express, will depart from Hadapsar station at 04.00 hrs on Monday, 23rd April and is scheduled to arrive at Guwahati at 07.00 hrs on Wednesday.

According to the official statement, the train will pass through major stations like Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur en route, and will stop at Chheoki, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn., Buxar, Arrah, Patna, New Barauni Jn., Begusarai, Khagaria, Katihar, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, and New Bongaigaon stations.

The train will have 21 sleeper coaches and one AC three-tier coach to provide comfortable travel to passengers. The booking for the train will start from April 23rd, and passengers can book their tickets either online or at the railway stations.

The Indian Railways has urged passengers to download the NTES app or visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in for detailed halt timings of the special train. The app provides real-time information on the train’s schedule, including any changes in the timing or the route.

The introduction of this special train is expected to provide relief to passengers traveling between Pune and Guwahati.
