Rain In Winter In Pune, IMD Predicts Rain Till Wednesday

Pune, December 14, 2020: The low-pressure belt over northern Maharashtra combined with moisture content from the Arabian Sea has brought rain over Central Maharashtra, Vidharbha and other parts of the state. The rain is expected till Wednesday, said the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

“The two cyclones Nivar and Burevi which had brought over the Bay of Bengal has disturbed the weather conditions affecting the minimum and maximum temperature in the State”, added the IMD official.

Meanwhile, the first day of the week opened with cloudy skies followed by intermittent rain in the city. The entire city saw rain including the Peth areas, Sinhgad Road, Aundh, Baner, Pashan, Shivajinagar etc areas.

According to IMD, from Wednesday onwards, the sky will be clear.
