RBSE: Rajasthan Board 10th and 12th examinations to begin from May 15, datesheet to be announced soon
Jaipur, 13 January 2021: School Education Departments of various states have started organizing classes for senior classes from 9th to 12th amid decreasing coronavirus cases. On the other hand, dates or date sheet for the annual board examinations are also being released.
In this series, Rajasthan Board has informed that the board examinations for the session 2020-21 will be conducted from May 15. According to media reports, Rajasthan board examinations will be continuing till June 15. However, no datesheet has been officially released by the Rajasthan board. However, reports state that the Rajasthan board will soon release the 10th and 12th examinations’ date sheet. Visit the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in for regular updates.
21 lakh students will give board examinations
According to the data released by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE), around 21 lakh candidates will appear in the board examinations of 10th and 12th. Out of these, about 10 lakh candidates will appear for the 10th board examinations while 11 lakh will appear for the 12 examinations. Registration for both the board exams was conducted till January 8, 2021.
The practical exam will be conducted after the main exams.
Generally, the main examinations are conducted after practical examination by the Rajasthan Board. However, this time the practical exam may be announced after the main examination. This delay has been due to the coronavirus Pandemic, which has disrupted educational activities.
