RENAULT KWID CROSSES 3-LAKH SALES MILESTONE Celebrates with unique mileage rally in Pune

The event saw great feedback from customers’, with more than 50 families participating. The 3 winners reported an outstanding mileage of more than 33 km/pl. Once again, Kwid proved that together with outstanding design and innovation, it offers great mileage, enabling an unmatched value proposition.

This was in line with Renault India’sstrategy to cater to the evolving needs and preferences of India customers, its long-term commitment to the Indian market, and to have a strong product life cycle for KWID. Renault India enhanced the safety features of KWID and the new KWIDcomplied with advanced safety regulations, including pedestrian safety, which was done ahead of regulation timelines without any incremental price to the customers. The new KWID Range gets several active and passive safety features including Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (ABS with EBD), Driver airbag and Driver & Co Driver Seat belt reminder, speed alert, standard across all variants. KWID Climber gets an additional Rear Arm restfor additional comfort and convenience.  In addition, the AMT variants of the new Renault KWID Range comes equipped with the essential Traffic assistwhich helps the vehicle to crawl forward in slow moving traffic and also prevents it from rolling back on slopes.

The Innovative Shift Control Dial with three modes Reverse – Neutral – Drive has been smartly designed for ease of use. The Easy-R gearbox can be operated with a shift control dial that is positioned below the infotainment system on the centre console. The vehicle has an advanced throttle control unit that monitors the throttle input by optimising acceleration and gear shifting.
