Rise In The Price Of LPG Cylinder, Commercial As Well As Domestic Becomes Expensive

New Delhi, 1st July 2021: Indian Oil has increased the rates of 14.2 Kg LPG cylinder without subsidy in Delhi with effect from July 1, 2021. The company has increased the price of a cylinder by Rs 25.50. With this, the cylinder which was available for Rs 809 will now be available at Rs 834.50. Along with this, the rates of 19-kilo commercial cylinders have also changed. Its rate has increased by Rs 76.50. Now it will be available for Rs 1550.

Last month, the company had cut the rate of commercial cylinders by Rs 122. This 19 Kilo Cylinder would cost Rs 1473.50. Yet, there was no change in the price of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders.

What is the price in the states

The prices of LPG keep on changing from state to state. The price of the commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1550. Whereas in Mumbai it is Rs 1507. On the other hand, a cylinder costs Rs 1629 in Kolkata and Chennai Rs 1687.5 per cylinder.

Prices did not change in May

There was no change in the price of the subsidized cylinder in May. However, a deduction of Rs 10 was made in April. The price of LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 694 in January, which was increased to Rs 719 per cylinder in February. By February 15th, the price was increased to Rs 769. After this, on February 25, the price of the LPG cylinder went up to Rs 794. In March, the price of the LPG cylinder was reduced to Rs 819.

Like LPG, the price of petrol and diesel has increased as well. Petrol in Delhi remained stable at Rs 98.81 per liter on Thursday. Diesel also remained at Rs 89.18 per liter. Petrol is the most expensive in Sriganganagar and Rajasthan. Petrol price in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata is Rs 104.90, Rs 99.80 and Rs 98.64 per liter.
