Rotary Club Chinchwad Felicitates Ex-Serviceman Dattatrey Hari Kulkarni With Vocational Excellence Award
Pune, 15th August 2023: In a heartwarming ceremony held at RC Chinchwad Pune, Dattatrey Hari Kulkarni, an esteemed Ex-Serviceman, was honored with the prestigious Vocational Excellence Award.
Kulkarni’s exceptional contribution to Operation Trident, a historic Naval Combat operation on December 4, 1971, during the Pakistan War, was commemorated during the event. His bravery and strategic prowess led to the victorious sinking and destruction of five Pakistani warships, including an American arms supply ship, earning him national acclaim as a true hero.
The felicitation event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Rtn. Yatish Bhatt, the President of RC Chinchwad, Rtn. Sachin Wadbudhe, Secretary of the organization, and Rtn. Shriprasad Sohani, the Vocational Director. The attendees collectively saluted Dattatrey Hari Kulkarni for his unwavering dedication and service to the nation.
