Yerwada, 9th July 2025: The Rotary Club of Pune Kharadi is set to organise a Blood Donation Camp on Friday, July 19, at Sahyadri Hospital, Shastri Nagar, Yerwada. The camp will begin at 11:00 AM and continue through the day, aiming to collect vital blood and blood cell units for patients in need.

The initiative comes at a crucial time, as hospitals across the city continue to face shortages of essential blood components. The organisers have urged citizens to come forward and contribute to this life-saving cause.
“Be a reason for someone’s life and happiness,” reads the club’s message, encouraging voluntary donors to participate.

All blood donors will receive refreshments, a certificate of appreciation, and a blood card, which can be used during emergencies to avail blood units.

The event is being spearheaded by Dr. Seema Khaire and Rtn. Neeta Razdan Kaul, under the leadership of Rotary Club President Rtn. Col. Kulbir Singh and Secretary Rtn. Shabana Khan.

For those willing to donate, basic eligibility includes being in good health, aged between 18 and 65 years, and weighing at least 50 kg. Donors are advised to have a light meal before donating and carry a valid ID.

The Rotary Club of Pune Kharadi continues to be at the forefront of community service, and this blood donation drive is part of its ongoing efforts to support healthcare initiatives across the region.
