Sahyadri Hospitals launches Education Center for Healthcare Professionals
Pune, 9th July 2018: Quality skill set and its development is very important to deliver the best service in Healthcare industry. Improving the skill set of Healthcare professionals, Sahyadri Hospitals launched Sahyadri Hospitals Education Center at Khilarewadi near Garware College. This state of the art facility was inaugurated today at the hands of Suman Kirloskar, Trustee Mahila Seva Mandal in the presence of Dr. Charudutt Apte – Leading Neuro Surgeon and Chairman, Sahyadri Hospitals, Dr Jayashree Apte – Executive Director, Dr. Deepa Divekar – Director of Research & Academics, Rajendra Sudumbarekar – CFO, Dr. Sunil Rao – COO, Dr. Ketan Apte –Business Head, Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospitals at Nagar Road, Deccan & Hadapsar and other officials from Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Charudutt Apte said, “Quality skill set is the pillar of healthcare system and our aim is to constantly improve the standards to benefit everyone connected to the Sahyadri. The Skill Lab is one more important milestone in that direction. This Skill Lab will help medical professionals be even more adept with medical simulations and advanced technologies.
Dr Jayashree Apte said that this newly opened Education Centre will focus on specialized skill based training for our healthcare professionals. This centre will host a wide range of technical, clinical and academic training programs that aim at the overall development of our team members. These programs will help us to gain skills essential for handling real life emergency situations through a simulated environment.
Dr Sunil Rao said that Sahyadri Hospitals Education Center involves all important facilities needed to train the healthcare professionals and increase their competence level. The facility includes a computer lab, fully equipped skill lab for practical training facility. There are devices and machines installed from Neonatal ICU, ICU and General Wards.
