Sainagar Shirdi-Chennai Express to Run with LHB Coaches from May 2025
Pune, 21 March 2025: Central Railway has announced a change in the composition of the Sainagar Shirdi – Chennai Express, which will now operate with LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches from May 2025. The revised composition aims to enhance passenger safety and comfort.
Train no. 22601/22602 Chennai-Sainagar Shirdi-Chennai Express will adopt the new LHB rake as per the following schedule:
Ex Chennai: From 21 May 2025
Ex Sainagar Shirdi: From 23 May 2025
Revised Composition:
1 AC II Tier
6 AC III Tier
7 Sleeper Class
4 General Second Class
1 General Second Class with Guard’s Brake Van
1 Generator Van
The train will now run with 20 LHB coaches in total. Passengers are advised to take note of the revised composition while booking tickets for their journey.
