Sakal Media Group launches Sakal Miss Maharashtra 2018

Mumbai, 15^th January 2018: Sakal Media Group today announced the launch of P.N Gadgil & Sons presents Sakal Miss Maharashtra 2018. As you are aware, Sakal Media Group is Maharashtra’s no. 1 Media Group which houses a plethora of publications with Sakal Newspaper as its flagship brand and the daily circulation of 12,81,305 (ABC Jan to June 2017). The newspapers and magazines in Marathi and English have a combined readership of over 4.3 million. The newspaper alone has a circulation of 1.67 million which incorporates 12 editions in Maharashtra &Goa. Commenting on the launch Mr. Rahul Gadpale, Editor-Mumbai said “Sakal has made a significant impact amongst the youth by launching this initiative with a cause-Education for a girl child”, this would not only create awareness but will provide a platform for the urban as well as rural youth to showcase their talent. This shall attract the whole new set of audience which have been deprived of such benefits. In its endeavour Sakal wishes to give this opportunity to all the multi talented girls across Maharashtra to exhibit their talent and prove their mettle.

This is going to be the first ever pageant hunt in Maharashtra (Urban & Rural) which will see the participations from all strata of the society. The Top 3 winners will get assured role in Marathi Films. They are very delighted to be part of this journey of finding the talent which is connected to the roots of Maharashtra.”

The registration process starts from 16^th Jan and will conclude on 26^th January 2018. There would be auditions at 8 locations post which we will end up with 32 finalists. These top 32 will then undergo an extensive training and grooming sessions under the expert supervision. The other
