SC asks RBI to submit major loan defaulters list  

New Delhi- The Supreme Court has asked the Reserve Bank of India to submit the names of major loan defaulters over Rs. 500 Cr.

According to media reports, SC bench headed by Chief Justice T.S. Thakur has directed the RBI to submit the details of defaulters in sealed cover with in six weeks. The highest judicial authority of the land also expressed concern over the rise in such corporate loans.

Passing an interim order on a petition on such loans, SC directed the RBI to file a detailed affidavit with detailed list of the such defaulter companies.
