School children make every drop count
By Sanchita Garule
Pune – City Pride School located in Pimpri Chinchwad is carrying out a great initiative for saving wasted water and using it for better use.
This school insists the students to drop the left over water from water bottles in drums while leaving the school. The water collected in drums is used for watering the plants in the school premises.
This beautiful practice is slowly being adopted by other schools also.
According to a survey, the approximate amount of water collected in these drums is around 1 lakh litre per annum.
God bless the children and school management for practicing such a wonderful initiative.
