Schools in Maharashtra to reopen after Diwali

Pune, November 6, 2020: After seven months of the shutdown, schools in Maharashtra might reopen on November 23 , informed  Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad.

 

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has also been prepared in this regard, and only the approval of the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is awaited.

While the classes are being conducted online, this decision has been taken considering the Coronavirus(COVID-19) situation.

 

According to the information received, it has been decided to start schools from November 23. A plan has been drawn up as to how the school will be started.

 

School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has also informed that the 10th and 12th class examinations would be held in May. Parental permission will also be sought before starting schools.
