Senior Citizens Harassment Prohibition, Programme on the Occasion of Jagriti Divas
Mumbai, 15 : According to the provisions of Senior Citizen Policy, June 15 is observed as Senior Citizen Harassment Prohibition Awakening Day. On this occasion, as a joint venture Social Justice and Special Assistance Department and HelpAge India have organized a discussion session at Auditorium Hall, Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Sangamnagar, Wadala (East) at 10.30 am this morning.
The discussion session will be inaugurated by Rajkumar Badole, Minister of Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. The programme will be attended by the Guardian Minister of Mumbai City Subhash Desai, Minister of State for Social Justice and Special Assistance Department Dilip Kamble, MP Rahul Shewale, Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, Principal Secretary Social Justice Department Dinesh Waghmare, Additional Police Commissioner , Mumbai , Dnyaneshwar Chavan, Welfare Department Commissioner Milind Shambharkar, Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare Department’s Balasaheb Solanki, Borgaonkar of HelpAge India and other dignitaries . The Social Justice Department has appealed that more and more citizens should attend this program.
