Seven-Month-Old Infant Kidnapped from Pune Railway Station

Pune, 27th April 2024: Disturbing reports have emerged of a seven-month-old child being kidnapped from the vicinity of Pune railway station, sparking a frantic search and investigation by local authorities.

The kidnapped child, identified as Shravan Ajay Telang, was taken from the Pune railway station area in circumstances that have left the Telang family devastated. According to reports, Shravan’s father, Ajay Telang, filed a complaint at the Bundagarden police station following the harrowing ordeal.

The Telang family, residents of Bhusawal, had traveled to Pune to visit their relatives. However, tragedy struck when the family, including Shravan, was sleeping at the premises of Pune railway station late on Saturday night. An unknown individual seized the opportunity to kidnap the seven-month-old child while the family slept around 2 am.

Upon awakening and realizing Shravan was missing, the Telang couple immediately launched a frantic search within the station premises. Fearing the worst, they promptly reported the kidnapping to authorities at the Bundagarden police station.

Senior Police Inspector Sandipan Pawar reached the spot, initiating an investigation into the alarming incident. CCTV footage from the railway station area was promptly secured for analysis, revealing crucial evidence of the kidnapping taking place.

The police have intensified efforts to locate the child, conducting inquiries with rickshaw drivers, restaurant operators, and hawkers in the vicinity.
