Shalom Trust’s Campaign to support education for construction worker’s children in Kharadi

6th June, 2019,Pune: Shalom a non-government organisation will conduct “Live to Give”, a campaign to provide educational support for construction workers children and families. On the 8th June’19, Shalom Trust will be hosting an event in the living quarters where the construction workers reside. They will be providing 100 children with school bags, water bottles, stationery, notebooks and other school necessities ahead of the 2019-20 academic year. Shalom invites citizens from all walks of the society to join this noble cause on 8th June’19, at Kharadi, behind Eon-IT Park, Millennium Construction Workers Living Quarters.

Shalom endeavors to encourage the children of the underprivileged families to pursue an education in schools built to enrich their life and their families. Over 1lkh had been raised towards the supplies of basic educational requirements for these children to attend school.

“Shalom” has been running multiple programs such as medical and dental camps for orphan children, cyclone Gaja Relief Camps for impacted villages and provide support to Government Welfare Homes for education to over 150 children.
