Six killed, 10 injured in explosive blast at Pulgaon

Wardha – Today morning between 7.10 am to 7.15 am at Sonegaon demolition/ destruction area near Pulgaon, an accident occurred while staffs of Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) were disposing off unserviceable ammunition.

In the accident one employee of Ordnance Factory, Khamaria and five casual laborers of the authorised contractor, who assist in digging the pit and placing the sand bag on the explosives, have suffered fatal injuries. Ten other injured have been shifted to Government Hospital in Sawangi, dist Wardha.

Concerned officials from Ordnance Factory Chandrapur and Ordnance Factory Khamaria have rushed to spot to ascertain cause of accident.
