Software Exporters Association of Pune to launch Environmental Social Governance Forum

Pune, 22nd May 2025: Many a times the CSR funds of the Corporates do not reach the right NGOs for the right projects. So, in a bid to fill this gap, city based Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP) has stepped forward to launch the Environmental Social Governance – Forum (ESG Forum).
SEAP President Vinita Gera said, “The Software Exporters Association of Pune has been instrumental in creating the appropriate ecosystem for the software industry in Pune with special focus on leadership development, technology innovation, go the market strategy and operational excellence. Now, through this ESG Forum SEAP wishes to create sustainable platform for the Corporates and NGOs so that the CSR funds finds the right way and the right project facilitating better output in social projects.”
Commenting on this initiative Vidyadhar Purandare, Secretary SEAP and the Coordinator of this ESG Forum said, “This forum will not only act as a platform to facilitate CSR in a better way but will also contribute towards speedy implementation of projects beneficial to the city of Pune in the longer run. Identifying the problems of the city and working towards helping the local administration in solving those through this ESG Forum will be the top priority. The focus will be on some important issues related to the city at large and the society including environment, pollution, waste management, water supply, traffic congestion, slums development, support needed for orphanages and the people from the economically weaker section of the society.
