Sony Music sweeps the Grammys 2016 with 24 wins!

Sony Music, global music giant, has taken away maximum awards at today’s Grammys 2016. Uptown Funk by Marc Ronson and Bruno Mars got a huge audience applaud and won 2 prestigious awards Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. India witnessed the Ed Sheeran craze last year and this year Warner Bros. artist won 2 of the best categories including Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for his ballad Thinking Out Loud.

Another prominent award, Best New Artist which is one of the most sought after awards , was won by songstress Meghan Trainor , who was extremely emotional while excepting the award.

Warner Bros. artist Diplo, who will be in India this week, Skrillex and Justin Bieber’s song Where are you now which was a massive dance song won Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Electronic Album. Their performance at the awards was extremely energetic and was also a first win for Diplo and Skrillex!
