Pune, 24th July 2026: Students of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) have expressed strong resentment over the delay in the declaration of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) examination results. Although the examinations were conducted in April, the results of students from Pune, Ahilyanagar and Nashik districts have still not been announced, more than three months later.

The delay has left thousands of students in uncertainty, affecting admissions to higher education, applications for competitive examinations and employment opportunities. Students said the prolonged wait has disrupted their academic and career plans.

Demanding immediate action, student representatives Ganesh Shide and Shiva Barole submitted a memorandum to the Director of SPPU’s Board of Examinations and Evaluation, urging the university to declare the pending results without any further delay.

The representatives warned that if the results are not announced within the next two days, students will stage a sit-in protest outside the University’s Examination Department.

Students have appealed to the university administration to expedite the evaluation process and publish the results at the earliest to avoid further inconvenience and academic setbacks.
