SSE JE 2018: 1840 candidates cleared the JE exam; will be appointed in PWD and other departments

New Delhi, January 12, 2021: SSC JE 2018 final result has been announced. The result of Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical & Quality Survey & Contract) Exam 2018 was announced by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Monday, 11 January 2021.

For the total 1845 vacancies released in the Public Works Department, Border Roads Organization, and other departments of the Central Government, 1840 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The candidates involved in the document verification of the final stage of the selection process of SSC JE 2018 by the Commission can see their name and roll number in the list of the finally selected 1840 candidates released on the commission’s official website SSC.nic.in.

According to the SAC JE 2018 final result announced by the Commission, out of the 1840 candidates recommended for appointment, 832 are in the unreserved category. Simultaneously, 273 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, 150 Scheduled Tribes, and 483 candidates belong to other backward classes. At the same time, 102 candidates from the EWS category has cleared the examination. The maximum vacancies of Junior Engineer (Civil) BRO were announced for the 2018 examination. Candidates have been selected for all these vacancies.

According to the commission’s notice, marks of all the selected and unsuccessful candidates declared in the JE Exam 2018 will be released on 13 January 2021. Candidates can see their marks on Commission’s website till 12 February. The candidates have to log in through their registration number and password after visiting the official website to see the marks.
