Suryadatta Group Invites Applications for  Scholarship to Employees

Pune- Suryadatta Group of Institute, the leading group in the field of education and known for its high quality research, expert management and focus on cultivating leadership, has invited  applications for the scholarships worth Rs. 25 Lakh to employees to pursue higher education. These scholarships will be given under the group’s Industry Institute Interface (CSR) initiative, Prof.  Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder- President,  Suryadatta Group of Institute, said today in Press Conference.

            Dr. Sanjay Chordiya  said, Suryadatta Group has provided scholarships worth Rs. Rs.1.25 Crores to over 800 student employees during last 10 years. Suryadatta has sponsored these employees’ education in various fields in management, IT, Foreign trade, etc. They are in the age group of 22 – 50 yrs and are pursuing their education at Suryadatta’s Institutes which is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

            This year the scholarships will be given to eligible 100 employees from various national and multinational organisations. The group has requested employers of various organizations to nominate their employees for pursuing higher education.

            The eligible criteria by the group requires that the candidates Candidate should be graduate degree holders from any university. The candidates can attend part-time PG Diploma courses in Foreign Trade (PGDFT), Marketing Management (PGDMM), Material & Logistics Management (PGDMLM), Financial Services (PGDFS) and Import & Export Management ( PGDIEM) etc.

            Normally Employees are working in shifts, so they can attend regular classes. The designations of these employees include; Production Managers, Stores Managers, Line leaders, Sr. Engineers, Hardware and Software Engineers, Team members, Assistant Branch Managers, Directors, Purchase Officers, Store Assistants, superintendents etc.

            Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Dean Academics, Suryadatta Group of Institutes said, “Many students pursue a job soon after completing their graduation due to economical conditions, so they can’t complete their Master’s education thereafter. The objective of this initiative is that their education should not stop due to financial constraints. Companies don’t promote degree holders, organizations need these days specialised people with Masters Degree. So we are offering this opportunity to those employees, entrepreneurs to take advantage of this initiative and upgrade for your best future”.

            Companies like Tata Yazaki, Novartis, IDBI Bank, ZF Steering(I) Ltd, Hindustan Coca Cola, Sandvik Co., Cipla, Kirloskar Chillers, Maersk (I) Pvt. Ltd., Chougule (I) Pvt. Ltd., Sahaj Infotech, etc., have nominated their employees for higher education qualification enhancement.

            The date for the companies to send the nomination of the employees for this initiative is 30th March 2018. Last date for employees for registration to avail the scholarship is 30th May 2018. PG Diploma Courses are affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and will commence from 16 july 2018.
