Suryadatta honours eminent personalities with Go Green Awardsa
On 21st Marh 2017, 11 eminent Puneites were honoured with Go Green Awards by Suryadatta Group of Institutes at the Desino 2017 Expo. Desino was an unique exhibition of Innovation & Recycled World, by Suryadatta Institute of Design, that promoted recycled products and created an awareness about the importance of Recycle, Reuse and Reduce, which was held for 3 days at Balgandharva.
The awards were presented at the hands of Hon. Pune Mayor, Ms. Mukta Tilak and Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Chairperson, Suryadatta Group of Institutes.
The awardees were :
1. Mangesh Tendulkar – Renowned Cartoonist
2. Dinkar Temkar – Deputy Director, Pune Division, Education Dept
3. Chandrakant Ninale – Joint Director, MSBVE
4. Vivek Khatavakar – Renowned Sculptor & Artist
5. Manjushri Khardekar – Renowned Social Worker, Corporator, PMC
6. Harun Attar – Education Officer, Z.P. Pune
7. Sanjay Karekar – Deputy Education Offiecr, Z.P. Pune
8. Rohidas Ekad – President, Pune District Science Teachers Association
9. Vishnu Bheda – Eminent Interior Design, Chairman, IIID, PRC
10. Sanjay Bhandar – Director, Anand Computers
11. Ravi Choudhari – Chairman, Dream Placements, Pune Pratishthan
Said Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, “It is our privilege to felicitate these personalities, who are playing an important role in preserving our environment. Recycling is one of the best ways to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. And thus we must act fast as the amount of waste we create is increasing day by day having a negative effect on the planet”.
