Suryadatta organises “Surya Milan” – Grand Alumni Meet 2017 – ‘Where Past meets with Future’

The 18th edition of Alumni Meet 2017, which is popularly known as “Surya Milan – A Festival of enriching association and strong bonding” of the Alumni of Suryadatta Group of Institutes was organized last week at its Bavdhan Campus. The Alumni meet was attended by faculty members & over 300 Alumni of Suryadatta Institutes of Management, some even accompanied by their spouse and children.

Suryadatta’s alumni are working at leading international corporate brands such as Infosys ,Nestle India, Vodafone, Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt. Ltd.., e Clerx, Shri Ram General Insurance, Bank of New York Mellon, Airtel, Maersk Line, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Ferrero India, Sun guard, Philips Lighting India Ltd, Times of India, Accenture Software, Just Dial, Credit Suisse, Berger, Capstone, Reynold Infotek, Zee Media Corporation, Exide Industries, etc. Some of the Alumni have become entrepreneurs, such as : Piyushs Foods Pvt. Ltd., Fitness Trainer, Auto cop, Chaudhary Developers, Coaching Institute, to name some.

“Suryadatta has a widespread strong Alumni Network of over 22,000 working in different parts of India and some even abroad. Alumni are the Brand Ambassadors of the Institute and their work in corporate world speaks volumes about the institute itself”, beamed Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Group of Institutes. He also shared his secrets of being successful in the life with the students. He advised them to have a clear vision and take action consistently to pursue excellence, which will help them to reach ultimate goal of their life. He also told them that setting an objective in the life is an ongoing process and one must keep on raising the bar after achieving the first goal and going towards the next one. He also informed the students about the loyalty currency. He laid emphasis on being well versed with new technologies to be competitive in the fast growing world.

Dr. Chordiya also extended an invitation to the Alumni to attend the Suryadatta Foundation Day celebrations held every year on 7th February, Teachers Day celebrations on 5th September every year & for Alumni meet last Sunday of December (30th December 2018 for the Alumni meet 2018).

Alumni Mr. Pushakar Lingaharkar shared an emotional experience on how he missed life in Suryadatta and how he gained confidence from all different events conducted at Suryadatta . He said Suryadatta in one line is “home away from home”.

Some of the past students expressed their indebtedness to Suryadatta for whatever they have achieved today in their life. Entire Alumni however were unanimous that their Holistic Development was possible due to the mould provided by Suryadatta.

This was the platform where students from Delhi, Rajasthan, M.P., U.P., South – North India, Maharashtra, all around India came together to relive the moments of their college days.

Suryadatta Alumni “SURYANS ” will now spend minimum 2 hours per week or month for guiding and mentoring and sharing their work experience with freshers and current batch students Suryans will be paid an honararium and given a training certificate for the same says, Prof. Sanjay Chordiya. The purpose is to develop interest among alumni in teaching fields to meet need of education field through trained industry experi enced persons.

Alumni along with Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya – Dean Academics, and Mrs. Sushama Chordiya, Vice President & Secretary, and other staff members of Suryadatta Group of Institutes cut the cake of the Alumni meet. The event ended with a DJ night and Dinner.
