SUVs Made In India Will Compete With Force Motor’s 2021 Force Gurkha

New Delhi, 15th June 2021: Force Motors is soon going to launch its off-road SUV 2021 Gurkha in India. This SUV was first introduced during the 2020 Auto Expo. The new Gurkha is going to be launched in the market with the new features and updated design in India, it will compete with the new Mahindra Thar and Bolero launched last year. Let’s have a look at both these SUVs.

2021 Force Gurkha

2021 Force Gurkha will have a diesel engine of 2.6-litre, which will be able to generate a maximum power of 90bhp and peak torque of 280 Nm. The engine of the SUV will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV looks exactly the same as it was exhibited at the Auto Expo 2020. The SUV is expected to get a snorkel, new headlamps, circular DRLs, single slat grille (with Force Motors logo), fog lights, chunky wheel cladding with roof carrier, and black ORVMs which will make its exterior stand out.

Mahindra Thar

Mahindra Thar is an off-road SUV in India, with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, and 150bhp power with 320 Nm peak torque. Along with this, the Thar also gets the option of a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that generates maximum power of 130bhp and a peak torque of 300Nm. Both these engine options are mated to a 6-speed manual and optional AMT gearbox. Talking about the features, safety features like cruise control, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, hill-hold and hill descent control have been included in Thar.

Mahindra Bolero

In terms of engine and power, the BS6 Mahindra Bolero has a 1.5 litre 3-cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine that generates 74.96 Hp of power at 3600 Rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 1600- 2200 Rpm. A single plate dry clutch has also been given in this SUV. Talking about the suspension, the Bolero BS6 has IFS coil spring suspension at the front and Rigid leaf spring suspension at the rear. The new Mahindra Bolero has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
