Symbiosis Hosts Spectacular Design Showcase 2026
Pune, 27th April 2026: The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) successfully concluded its 17th Graduation Ceremony “The SID Design Showcase” at its vibrant Viman Nagar campus.
The two-day celebration was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. G.V. Sreekumar, a renowned design educator and former Head of the IDC School of Design at IIT Bombay. Dr. Sanjeevani Ayachit, Director, SID and Dean, Faculty of Design, Symbiosis International University, was present along with faculty members, students, parents, and industry guests. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International University.
The Fashion Show was honoured by the presence of Guest of Honour Mr. Ateev Anand, Founder of Re and Re-Ceremonial, a noted designer, educator, and sustainability advocate. The SID Design Showcase 2026 featured an inspiring collection of graduation projects by final-year students across eight design disciplines: Communication Design (Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Animation Film Design, and Video Film Design), Industrial Design (Product Design and Interior Space Design), Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication. The exhibition reflected the creativity, innovation, research acumen, and industry readiness of SID’s graduating students.
The two-day celebration also featured the much-awaited Open Day, Fashion Show, Placement Week, and the Academic Awards Ceremony, recognising excellence in design, leadership, and innovation. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduating students of B.Des and M.Des, and a proud moment for the entire SID community.
